Vocational Qualifications honour the achievements of employers, individuals and professionals in the field across Wales. The VQ activities are jointly organised in partnership between the Welsh Government, ColegauCymru/CollegesWales, the National Training Federation for Wales (NTfW), Qualifications Wales and the Education Workforce Council for Wales.

Each organisation involved takes its personal information obligations seriously and this document sets out how NTfW (as data controllers) will process the personal data you submit.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • name
  • contact information including email address
  • demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • other information relevant customer information

What we do with the information we gather

Your data will be used to contact you regarding VQ activities, including but not limited to nomination forms submitted by you, invitations to events and/or information on vocational qualifications.

Security

We will always ensure that any personal data we receive in relation to vocational qualifications is stored securely and seen only by those people involved in the organisation of the VQ Awards and VQ Day. Such as – officials from each of the partnership organisations listed above, the judging panel and appointed contractors involved in the nomination process.
